Concrete Patio Transformation

Last year hubby and I decided to spruce up the concrete patio just off of our deck. We did not want to spend much though so we opted to paint it instead of putting down pavers. First, we scrubbed it down. Then, we taped it off in 12"x12" squares on the diagonal with a small brick shaped border. We used several colors of outdoor paints and swirled them together with a sponge. Last, we pulled off the tape and used a 3/4" sponge brush to paint in the grout lines. It was back breaking work but we were quite happy with the results!
